Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered pre- and post-operative nursing care, including assessments, medication administration, pain and wound management, and ongoing monitoring.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, therapists, and case managers.
- Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and educate patients and families on procedures, recovery, and discharge plans.
- Contribute to quality and safety initiatives within a research-connected healthcare system.
- Engage in clinical training, mentorship, and professional development to advance skills.
