Inpatient Surgical Nurse

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, evidence-based care to adult surgical patients on an acute care unit.
• Manage pre- and post-operative patients, monitor complex clinical conditions, and administer medications and IV therapies.
• Coordinate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Provide patient and family education to support understanding and engagement in care.
• Support safe transitions of care and contribute to quality and safety initiatives.
