About the role
Registered Nurse providing inpatient rehab care for adults with neurological and complex medical conditions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and case managers to ensure comprehensive care.
- Educate patients and families about treatment plans and health management.
- Document care activities accurately in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
- Participate in interdisciplinary team conferences to coordinate patient care.
- Support a patient-centered, respectful, and safety-focused environment rooted in faith-based principles.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse license.
- Experience or interest in rehabilitation nursing preferred.
Skills
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to assess patient needs and implement appropriate interventions.
- Commitment to ongoing education and professional development.
