Inpatient Rehab Occupational Therapist

About the role

Assess, plan, and implement rehabilitative programs to restore or improve patients' daily activities, mobility, cognitive functions, strength, coordination, and range of motion.

Responsibilities

• Develop and revise treatment plans in collaboration with patients and families.
• Conduct patient assessments and provide ongoing education and discharge instructions.
• Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and discharge plans according to departmental guidelines.
• Serve as a resource for staff, families, and physicians regarding rehabilitation services and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and maintain confidentiality.
• Engage in process improvements, safety practices, and support a respectful, diverse workplace.
• Perform other duties as assigned to ensure quality patient care and organizational standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Valid OT license and BLS certification.
