About the role
Assess, plan, and implement rehabilitative programs to restore or improve patients' daily activities, mobility, cognitive functions, strength, coordination, and range of motion.
Responsibilities
- Develop and revise treatment plans in collaboration with patients and families.
- Conduct patient assessments and provide ongoing education and discharge instructions.
- Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and discharge plans according to departmental guidelines.
- Serve as a resource for staff, families, and physicians regarding rehabilitation services and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and maintain confidentiality.
- Engage in process improvements, safety practices, and support a respectful, diverse workplace.
- Perform other duties as assigned to ensure quality patient care and organizational standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Valid OT license and BLS certification.
