Inpatient Rehab Occupational Therapist

Responsibilities

• Implement and adjust treatment plans, selecting appropriate activities to meet patient goals.
• Collaborate with physicians and families to establish and evaluate treatment and discharge plans.
• Provide patient and family education, discharge instructions, follow-up, and referrals.
• Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and discharge information per departmental standards.
• Maintain ethical standards, confidentiality, punctuality, and effective communication.
• Participate in staff meetings, training, and quality improvement activities.
• Promote excellent customer service, teamwork, and a positive environment.
• Engage in ongoing professional development, mandatory education, and licensure maintenance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Licenses and certifications including OT license and BLS certification, required upon hire.
• Effective communication, customer service orientation, teamwork, and basic computer skills.
