About the role

This position involves managing patient care and personnel in a behavioral health inpatient hospital setting, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered psychiatric care with a focus on safety and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Manage staff including hiring, training, assignment, performance evaluation, and professional development to meet departmental goals.
• Contribute to staffing plans, budgets, and respond to operational changes to meet financial targets.
• Oversee patient care, developing collaborative care plans based on assessments and medical treatment, ensuring documentation aligns with policies.
• Monitor staff productivity, conduct performance reviews, and address disciplinary actions as needed.
• Coordinate staff scheduling, overtime, payroll, and communication within the team.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed to maintain a secure environment for patients and staff.

Qualifications

• BSN degree with 2+ years of RN experience in inpatient behavioral health.
• RN licensure required.
• Preferred: 5-10 years of experience and less than 2 years of supervisory experience.
