Inpatient Psych Nurse Manager

Role Overview: This position involves coordinating patient care, managing personnel, maintaining equipment, and overseeing departmental operations within a psychiatric inpatient setting. The role includes hiring, training, assigning work, evaluating performance, and supporting professional development of staff to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care. Responsibilities: Manage staff, including staffing, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions.Contribute to departmental staffing, revenue, and expense budgets, ensuring adherence to financial goals.Oversee patient care planning, ensuring interventions are tailored to patients' ages and needs.Develop and implement collaborative care plans based on assessments and diagnoses.Coordinate staff scheduling, payroll, and communication, including overtime and performance reviews.Maintain a safe environment, adhering to safety protocols and safety-sensitive work standards. Qualifications & Skills: BSN degree with 2+ years RN experience required; 5-10 years preferred.RN license required; supervisory experience is preferred.Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
