Inpatient Psych Nurse Manager

Role Overview Responsible for coordinating patient care, managing staff, maintaining equipment, and ensuring operational efficiency within inpatient psychiatric units. Key Responsibilities:Hire, train, evaluate, and develop staff to meet departmental goals.Participate in staffing, budgeting, and responding to business changes to achieve financial targets.Oversee patient care planning and implementation based on assessments and medical treatments.Manage staff productivity, assign nursing duties, and handle overtime and scheduling.Conduct performance reviews, disciplinary actions, and support staff development.Ensure safety protocols are followed for staff and patients in a safety-sensitive environment.Qualifications & Skills:Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN).2+ years of RN inpatient hospital behavioral health experience.Valid RN license.Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
