Schedule

Variable pay range: $26.36 - $39.04
Shift differentials/premiums:
Evening - $3.00/hour
Night - $5.00/hour
Weekend - $4.50/hour
Pharmacy Night - $8.50/hour
Standby - $4.00/hour
Lead - $3.25/hour
Per diem - 15% (on base, in lieu of benefits)
Certification - $2.00/hour
Trainer - $2.00/hour
Student Coordinator - 1 = $2.00/hour, 2+ = $3.25/hour

Job Description

Receives and fills prescription requests from physicians and other qualified prescribers. Prepares/compounds medications, IVs, and other pharmaceutical supplies based on OMC protocols/procedures. Performs computer order entry/billing. Delivers supplies. Prepackages medications. Maintains records. Assists with training new staff. Performs drug stock control and other various other related duties.

Requirements

Graduate of a Washington State Board of Pharmacy approved Pharmacy Technician training program. Experience with hospital drug distribution systems, hospital computer systems, IV compounding systems, and other hospital-related systems preferred. Certification as a Pharmacy Technician in Washington State required. National certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred.
