About the Role

The Division of Hematology and Oncology at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine seeks a full-time non-tenure-eligible Clinician-Educator at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. This role focuses on guiding patient-centered care for hospitalized patients with advanced cancer.

Responsibilities

  • Provide consultative services to established oncology patients with solid tumors admitted to Northwestern Memorial Hospital.
  • Manage treatment-related toxicities and symptoms from cancer progression in close collaboration with outpatient clinical teams.
  • Engage in end-of-life discussions with patients and their families.
  • Participate in teaching, research, and clinical trials.

Requirements

  • MD degree.
  • Board certification in medical oncology.
  • Licensure to practice medicine.

Facilities

Our facilities include a modern 900-bed teaching hospital, outpatient clinic, extensive basic research facilities, and a large cancer center-supported clinical research office.

Pay

The expected base pay range for this position is $310,000.00 - $370,000.00. The pay offered will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, departmental budget, internal comparators, and external market pay for comparable jobs.
