Inpatient Occupational Therapist - PRN

About the role

The Inpatient Occupational Therapist at Siskin Hospital is responsible for developing and implementing treatment plans for patients, communicating effectively with other staff, physicians, patients, and their families, supervising students, providing clinical guidance to Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs), and serving as a resource for various support staff.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement treatment plans for patients
• Communicate effectively with other staff, physicians, patients, and their families
• Supervise students and provide clinical guidance to COTAs
• Serve as a resource for rehab technicians, aides, volunteers, visitors, and other staff

Requirements

• Licensed or eligible for licensure in Tennessee
• Maintains ongoing CPR certification
• Passes annual UDS PI credentialing exam (IRF)
• Obtains thermal and electrical modalities certifications for Tennessee prior to performing modalities

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program including successful completion of clinical fieldwork requirements
