About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide clinical leadership in a specialized rehabilitation-orthopedic unit.
Responsibilities
- Supervise nursing staff and assign patient care duties
- Ensure adherence to unit policies and procedures
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support shared governance
- Delegate duties and act as a liaison among staff, physicians, and patients
- Deliver safe, personalized care across diverse age groups
- Implement and evaluate patient care plans
- Assist with medical procedures and ensure accurate documentation
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Current RN licensure in New Mexico
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant nursing experience
- Current CPR certification
- Physical ability to perform heavy work
Qualifications
- Strong communication, leadership, and patient safety skills
- Bilingual abilities (preferred)
- Specialty certifications (preferred)
