About the role
This role is a full-time Registered Nurse position specializing in General Surgery, primarily working night shifts.
Responsibilities
- Supervise nursing staff and assign patient care tasks based on individual needs and qualifications
- Provide clinical leadership to ensure quality care and compliance with hospital policies
- Develop staffing schedules and delegate responsibilities
- Act as a liaison among physicians, staff, and patients
- Deliver direct patient care across all age groups
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support shared governance
- Ensure patient safety, documentation, and adherence to policies
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- At least 2 years of related experience
- Valid RN license and CPR certification
- Bilingual skills and/or relevant specializations or certifications are ideal
Physical demands
Heavy exertion required.
