Responsibilities
- Rounding, consults, documentation, and care coordination
- Daily workflow may vary based on patient census, consult volume, and physician schedules
- Call responsibilities rotate weekly, covering inpatient service coverage and weekends
Requirements
- Licensed Physician Assistant
- DEA license required

Schedule
This is a full-time, hospital-based position with primarily weekday daytime hours. Typical start time: 7:30 a.m. – 8:00 a.m. Call responsibilities rotate weekly, covering inpatient service coverage and weekends.
Pay
Pay Range: $47.50 - $71.25
About the Role
This position is primarily hospital-based and includes conducting inpatient consults, performing comprehensive patient histories and assessments, daily rounding on hospitalized patients, collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans, managing consults and coordinating care, participating in weekend and holiday rounding as assigned, and supporting outpatient clinic care as needed.

Scope of Practice
The scope of practice includes conducting inpatient consults, performing comprehensive patient histories and assessments, daily rounding on hospitalized patients, collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans, managing consults and coordinating care, participating in weekend and holiday rounding as assigned, supporting outpatient clinic care as needed, and supporting adult inpatients with occasional pediatric consults as clinically appropriate.
