Responsibilities
- Supports a physician in a collaborative outpatient GI practice setting
- Performs procedures such as PEG removals and G-tube exchanges
- Acts as first assistant during PEG insertions
- Manages a patient load of approximately 14 patients per day
- Works 4.5 clinical days and 0.5 administrative day per week
- Participates in a rotating schedule including one inpatient holiday per year
Requirements
- Acute Care NP or PA certification
- Current NC and SC licenses
- Minimum 2 years of GI or relevant experience (no new grads)
- Interest in comprehensive gastroenterology and related subspecialties
