Inpatient Gastroenterologist (MD/DO) | Close to South Carolina Beaches

About the role

MUSC Health- Florence Medical Center is seeking 2 BC/BE Gastroenterologists to form an inpatient only gastroenterology service. This service will be a seven-on-seven off model doing inpatient consults and performing inpatient endoscopy. This team will collaborate with busy gastroenterology practice with 1 other Gastroenterologist and 2 Nurse Practitioners and is growing.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with hospitalist and intensivists
• Perform inpatient endoscopy
• Work in a seven-on-seven off schedule
• Experience in ERCP and EUS procedures preferred but not mandatory

Requirements

• Board Certification/Eligibility
• 100% Inpatient work

• Excellent medical, surgical, and critical care support
• Conveniently located endoscopy lab and office
