Inpatient Consult Services, Operations Specialist
Job Summary
Responsible for supporting day-to-day operations within the organization's administrative functions, ensuring efficient workflow and compliance with organizational policies. Works closely with various departments to streamline processes, resolve operational issues, and contribute to the overall success of hospital initiatives. This role requires a strong understanding of administrative procedures, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Essential Functions
- Cook up and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with different departments to resolve operational issues and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Prepare reports and documentation to support decision-making and track operational performance.
- Maintain records and ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
- Provide administrative support for special projects, including research, data collection, and project coordination.
- Communicate effectively with staff and stakeholders to ensure the smooth operation of hospital services.
- Monitor and manage office supplies, equipment, and other resources to support daily operations.
- Aid in the onboarding and training of new staff to ensure smooth integration into the organization.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field required.
- Experience: 2-3 years in an administrative or operational support role, 1-2 years in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Licenses and Credentials: Not applicable.
- Knowledge, Skills And Abilities: Strong organizational skills, excellent communication skills, analytical skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, strong problem-solving abilities, ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
