Inpatient Adult Psychiatrist Position | W-2 | New Orleans, LA

About the role

River Oaks Hospital, a 126-bed private psychiatric facility in Harahan, LA, is seeking a Psychiatrist for their Inpatient Adult and Addiction Programs. The position is full-time, hospital-employed, and offers competitive compensation and benefits including relocation assistance and a sign-on bonus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct admission evaluations, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing treatment follow-up for child and adolescent patients.
• Participate in daily treatment team meetings.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.
• Complete required patient documentation and notes in accordance with facility guidelines.

Qualifications

• Board Eligible/Board Certified in General Psychiatry.
• Comfortable treating general adult inpatient daily caseload and ages 12 and older for weekend coverage.
• Active LA license or ability to obtain licensure.
