BC Psychiatrist for CMO Position | FT W2 | New Orleans, LA
Position Overview

Schedule / Hours: Onsite, Monday-Friday
Patient Volume: Negotiable
Location: Harahan, LA
Practice Setting: Inpatient ages 12 and older
Call Requirements: 1 night a week, overnight telephonic call, 14 weekend calls
Support / Care Team: Multidisciplinary with BH Techs, BH RN, Psychiatric NPs, Social Workers, and Therapists
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct admission evaluations, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing treatment follow-up for child and adolescent patients.
- Participate in daily treatment team meetings.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.
- Complete required patient documentation and notes in accordance with facility guidelines.
- Lead and manage daily patient care.
- Liaise with clinical and medical staff.
Qualifications
- Board Certified in General Psychiatry
- Must be comfortable treating ages 12 and older
- Active LA license or ability to obtain licensure
- Prior leadership experience is required
