Position Overview

Role: Full-time Chief Medical Officer Psychiatrist
Position: Psychiatrist position
Patient Population: Primary daily caseload will be Inpatient Adult unit and Inpatient Adolescent unit, with minimal RTC with NP assistance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct admission evaluations, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing treatment follow-up for child and adolescent patients.
  • Participate in daily treatment team meetings.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.
  • Complete required patient documentation and notes in accordance with facility guidelines.
  • Administrative Duties, Leadership: Meeting Attendance, Supervision of NPs

Qualifications

  • Education: M.D./D.O. with Board Certification in General Psychiatry, BC in Child/Adolescent Psychiatry a plus.
    Training: Successful completion of an accredited Psychiatry residency. Child/Adolescent fellowship program a plus.
  • Licensure: Georgia medical license and DEA in good standing or eligibility to obtain it.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ experience post training. Willing and experienced treating ages 12 and older.
    Leadership Experience and comfort in participating in leadership meetings and administrative duties up to 20 hours per month. Supervision of NPs is required.
