Job Summary

Fairfax Behavioral Health is seeking an experienced Adult Inpatient Psychiatrist to join our dynamic team at the Kirkland Campus. Founded in 1930, we are committed to providing comprehensive mental health and co-occurring addiction treatment services.

About the Role

As a key member of our clinical team, you will manage a manageable and sustainable caseload of 15-18 adult patients per day. Your responsibilities include initial psychiatric evaluations, assessments, treatment team leadership, and patient discharges. You will also have the opportunity for leadership and growth within the organization.

Primary Duties

  • Initial psychiatric evaluations and assessments
  • Treatment team leadership
  • Patient discharges
  • Occasional once monthly weekend rounding
  • Once per week evening call coverage by phone only

Work-Life Balance

Your schedule is flexible, generally Monday-Friday, day shifts, with the option to be offsite after daily patient care duties are completed.

Benefits and Compensation

  • Full-time employed W-2 position
  • Salary range: $320,000-$350,000
  • Unit or Service Line Directorship available (includes additional stipend)
  • Bonus structure: productivity bonus plan and additional call & weekend shifts

  • PTO: 26 days annually

  • Other compensation: negotiable

Qualifications

  • MD/DO degree from an accredited program
  • BC/BE in General Psychiatry (required)
  • Current Washington physician/medical license in good standing, or the ability to obtain required license
  • Meet all credentialing criteria required by participating physicians
