About the role

Fairfax Behavioral Health has been a cornerstone of mental health care in the Greater Seattle/Puget Sound areas since 1930. Our mission is to provide top-quality patient care through comprehensive mental health and co-occurring addiction treatment services for adolescents and adults.

Responsibilities

  • Manageable and Sustainable Caseload: Average of 16 patient encounters per day.
  • Schedule: Generally Monday-Friday, day shifts, with flexibility to be offsite after clinical duties are completed.
  • Primary Duties:
    • Initial psychiatric evaluations, assessments, treatment team leadership, and patient discharges.
  • Work-Life Balance: Occasional once monthly weekend rounding and once per week evening call coverage by phone only.

Requirements

  • Education: NP degree from an accredited and recognized program required.
  • Certifications: Post graduate PMHNP certificate required.
  • Licensure: Current Washington APRN license in good standing.
  • Credentialing: Meet all credentialing criteria required by participating providers.
  • Experience: 3+ years prior PMHNP work experience (clinical rotations and preceptor hours not included).

  • Salary Range: $150,000-$180,000 depending on experience and job fit.

Full-time, employed W-2 position.
