Inova Fairfax Hospital - Full Time - Pediatric Anesthesiologist

Role Overview

The Department of Anesthesiology at Inova Fairfax Hospital is looking for a board-certified Pediatric Fellowship Trained Anesthesiologist.

Anesthesiology Features

• Mixed practice (pediatric/adult) with a majority of pediatric general cases
• Other cases may include the entire spectrum of pediatric and adult surgical cases (general, ENT, ortho, neurosurgery, ophtho, dental, urology, GE and OB)
• Work with a team of 60+ Anesthesiologists, most with fellowship training (Pediatric, Adult Cardiac, Obstetric, and Pain)
• Solo or care team model with CRNAs
• Academic appointment opportunities available through the University of Virginia
• Educational opportunities include ability to work with medical students and residents (UVA and Walter Reed)

Requirements

• MD or DO from an accredited university medical school, completed ACGME residency training and subsequent fellowship
• ABA certification in Anesthesiology and Pediatric Anesthesiology
• Licensure: Current or eligibility for an unrestricted Virginia state medical license and DEA
• Prior leadership experience

Compensation

This position offers a nationally competitive compensation package, based on experience and includes a generous incentive package with a sign on bonus, yearly quality and performance incentives, possible non-clinical time for leadership position and more. This position is a salaried position, and as such, compensation is not directly dependent on individual critical care or anesthesia billing.
