Inkjet Trainee

Duties/Responsibilities

• Assist Press Operator complete set-up and operate equipment including the print engine, unwinder, stacker, and finishing unit.
• Absorb Press Operator by maintaining paper inventory and replenishing as necessary, including safely stacking/wrapping material before moving, and loading of correct paper stock into machine.
• Monitor quality to ensure customer satisfaction, maintain count and accurately stack finished product for delivery to Bindery.
• Complete and maintain all required paperwork, job jackets, records, documents, timekeeping, etc.
• Absorb in the cleaning of work area including priming unit, finishing unit and press, as well as preventative maintenance.
• Perform job in a manner that protects the health and safety of all employees.
• Follow all required safety procedures such as PPEs, Ergonomics, etc.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Mechanically inclined with good math skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability and willingness to work overtime as required.
