Job Duties
- Supply presses with the required inks and solvents
- Transfer inks from totes to operative buckets
- Complete required ink production forms
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Follow inspection procedures
- Use proper PPE when necessary
- Ensure ink is properly stored and labeled
- Move scrap/defective material to proper location and dispose of waste product
- Report all safety/equipment concerns to manager immediately
- Conduct other tasks as assigned by supervisor
Requirements and Skills
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (standing for long periods of time, lifting heavy loads of up to 50 pounds etc.)
- Good mathematical and measurement skills
- Familiarity with power tools and machinery is a plus
- Communication and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of flexographic printing and solvent based ink systems preferred
- Commitment to safety rules
- Ability to work in a fast pace environment
- Very good vision and ability to handle intricate, detail oriented work
- Warehouse experience is an asset, but not necessary
- Must be able/willing to work a flexible schedule
