Responsibilities

  • Support the Shift Lead and Press Operator during make-ready and daily press operations
  • Stage all materials, rolls, and ink required for upcoming jobs
  • Inspect, clean, and handle plates, sleeves, mandrels, and anilox rolls
  • Mount plates accurately using work orders, job jackets, print cards, and Mylar
  • Maintain organized plate storage and perform minor plate-mounter maintenance
  • Mix and dispense ink to customer specifications and maintain proper pH/viscosity
  • Replace ink totes/drums and complete all required SAP and dispenser documentation
  • Operate the Flexo-Wash anilox cleaning unit and safely handle cleaning chemicals
  • Review end-of-roll samples for print quality and report issues immediately
  • Unload, wrap, band, label, and store finished rolls; cut cores as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Team-oriented with a positive, “can-do” attitude
  • Basic mechanical and math skills; able to pass print/math test
  • Ability to work in hot environments and around inks/lubricants
  • Physically capable of prolonged standing and full-range movement (bending, climbing, kneeling, twisting, reaching)
  • Meets vision requirements including close, distance, peripheral, color, and depth perception
  • Able to lift up to 75 lbs. and move drums up to 550 lbs. using approved equipment
  • Capable of loading/unloading sleeves, including heavier two-person lifts
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
  • Effective communication skills
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • Ability to read and understand English
  • Flexible schedule, including potential overtime, weekend work, or call-ins based on production needs

Pay

Starting pay rate of $20.83/hour.

Schedule

  • 2nd shift: 3pm - 11pm
  • 3rd shift: 11pm - 7am
