Injection Molding Technician I - 1st Shift

About the role

The Injection Molding Technician is responsible for maintaining the daily operation of molding machines and ensuring the machine produces quality parts and maintains productivity.

Responsibilities

• Maintain molding equipment (e.g., molding machine, dryer, grinder).
• Maintain quality of the parts produced.
• Basic understanding of part prints.
• Read and understand work instructions and quality check sheets.
• Make adjustments to machine parameters as needed, with assistance.
• Pull and set molds with assistance as needed.
• Start and stop robots, make minor adjustments with assistance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One to three years of related experience.
• Basic computer skills.
• Basic problem-solving or troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work with a team.

Work Environment

The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
