Injection Molding Process Technician, Manufacturing - Life Sciences

About the role

Process technician provides direct support to the Injection molding department and Sr. process technician. Manufactures close tolerance plastic parts by creating a robust injection molding process, while maintaining a low scrap rate and a high safety standard, equipment, and all quality documentation.

Responsibilities

• Create a robust injection molding process
• Maintain a low scrap rate and a high safety standard
• Ensure production run consistency and meet all critical dimensions and cosmetic criteria
• Inspect product actual dimensions per drawings
• Enter all required job information into the system
• Identify product defects, compile data on all processing parameters, and train new employees
• Evaluate tooling and provide improvement suggestions
• Improve mold set up time and cycle time

Requirements

• High School degree (Preferred)
• 5-10 years experience in Injection Molding/Plastics manufacturing

Qualifications

• Ability to work flexible hours including 2nd shift
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Knowledge of injection molding processes and quality control
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office

Pay

The base pay range for this position is $28.00 to $43.00 per hour, with a total target cash range of $58,240 to $89,440. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and are not guaranteed.

M-F 2nd shift 1:00pm - 9:30pm
