Injection Molding Process Technician

We are hiring a 2nd Shift Process Technician for our RESRG Automotive facility in Covington, GA. This role will train on 1st Shift (Monday through Friday, 6:50 AM to 3:00 PM, with occasional mandatory weekends based on business needs) and then will move to the 2nd Shift (Monday to Friday, 2:50 PM to 11:00 PM, with occasional mandatory weekends based on business needs) after training. Pay is based on experience. Successful candidates will be self-directed and able to manage multiple priorities. A Day In The Life Typically Includes Responsible for following all plant safety policiesResponsible for following all plant ISO / TS 16949 & ISO-14001 policies and instructionsSetting up hot runner controllers, valve gate units and injection press and auxiliary equipmentReleasing good parts at start-upTroubleshooting and correcting all aspects of the process to make quality molded partsSupport engineering on tool trials and scrap reductionMaintaining a clean and organized work areaMaintaining daily run sheetsReading and understanding documentation to install tools, hot runners and valve gate unitsReading and understanding documentation to support engineering in support scrap reduction What You Will Need Experience using hand toolsExperience using measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)Experience using a computer, tablet or smartphoneHigh school diploma or GEDMinimum of three (3) years of experience as a Process Technician or similar role Experience with Injection Molding Physical Demands The Physical Demands Described Here Are Representative Of Those An Employee Encounters While Performing The Essential Functions Of This Job.
