Injection Molding Operator - Overnight

Schedule

Overnight shift from 6:00 pm to 6:00 am

Responsibilities

• Perform all manufacturing tasks in the injection molding area following established procedures, documentation, and guidelines
• Inspect injection molding product to ensure quality standards and specifications are consistently met
• Adhere to all safety guidelines
• Follow instructions and learn new manufacturing techniques
• Train new employees
• Documentation: open and close work orders, data entry
• Knowledge of IMI product
• Identify common injection molding defects
• Provide solutions to profit and quality gaps

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of document management and database operations
• Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly
• Basic organizational, communication, and time management skills
• Basic and accurate use of computer software programs and accessing company computer systems
• Basic math skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Alert, able to concentrate, and use good judgment

Preferred Qualifications

• Medical Device product and/or market knowledge
• Work experience with a medical device manufacturer
• Injection Molding knowledge

Physical Demands

• Majority of time spent standing and walking
• Occasional bending, reaching, pulling, pushing, and lifting
• Moderate physical effort required, equivalent to lifting 25 pounds or moving up to 100 pounds

Work Environment

Production floor or warehouse with no abnormal hazards or risks. May be subject to changes in temperature and exposure to dust.
