About the role
Sanmina Corporation is a leading integrated manufacturing solutions provider serving the fastest-growing segments of the global Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) market. As a Molding Operator, you will be responsible for removing injection molded plastic parts from molding machines and performing subsequent operations following written and verbal instructions.
Responsibilities
- Remove molded plastic parts from injection molding machines.
- Trim parts from runners using a gate trimming side cutter.
- Trim flash from parts if needed.
- Clean parts as required.
- Visually and mechanically inspect parts using written and verbal instructions.
- Perform additional operations on parts, such as fixturing, assembly, machining, staging in cooling racks, sanding, sonic welding, hot stamping, weigh counting, etc.
- Pack parts in containers following written or verbal instructions.
- Stack full containers in designated areas.
- Place runners and reject parts in the material grinder and operate the grinder.
- Sort runners from parts on automatic running presses.
- Record reject parts at the molding machine.
- Complete data entry processes, including listing good parts, scrap parts, and time for each job.
Requirements
- Prefer high school diploma or equivalent education.
- Previous operator or assembly experience.
- 0-1 years of relevant experience.
