This is a senior, hands-on engineering role focused on injection molding, plastics processing and tooling within a regulated manufacturing environment. We're looking for someone to act as the technical SME for injection molding and plastics manufacturing, leading process development and optimization, mold design and flow reviews, and troubleshooting complex tooling and production issues. This role will drive process improvements and permanent corrective actions through root-cause analysis, while working closely with Production, Quality, R&D, Maintenance and external vendors to introduce, optimize and sustain automated manufacturing processes. What We’re Looking For 4+ years of manufacturing/engineering experience with 2+ years in GMP manufacturingStrong hands-on injection molding and plastics processing experienceExperience with mold setup, process development, tooling design and mold maintenanceKnowledge of polymers/resins including PVC, Polycarbonate, ABS and PolyestersAbility to review mold designs and understand tooling manufacture, including machining, EDM, polishing and texturingStrong troubleshooting, root-cause analysis and continuous improvement experienceExperience working within FDA-regulated or medical device manufacturing environments preferred Interested?
