Job Responsibilities

  • Works in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
  • Participates in department productivity; ensuring ink room to meets daily goals.
  • Escalates complaints and problems to manager.
  • Promotes positive customer relations.
  • Responsible for accurately maintaining ink inventory.
  • Formulates and blends inks as required.
  • Organizes inks for press runs.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED with a minimum of 2 years press-related experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge and experience with pre-press operations.
  • Good working knowledge of ink dispensing systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents and write routing reports.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Color matching ability and knowledge of inks and films.

  • Maintain a neat, clean, and safe work area.
  • Maintain regular and consistent attendance.
  • Maintain positive working relationships.
