About the role

This position is responsible for assembling kits for the production plant. Pre-weigh ingredients, track inventory, and follow detailed instructions.

Responsibilities

  • Pre-weigh ingredients following specific recipes.
  • Batch soft drinks and energy drinks.
  • Maintain cleanliness of areas responsible for.
  • Monitor activities in area of responsibility at all times during shift.
  • Ensure that every detail and specification of each product is met.
  • Follow recipes and directions, “to the letter”.
  • Conduct physical counts on customer-owned inventories.
  • Learn and apply new processes and procedures in area of responsibility.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Lead.
  • Adhere to and comply with Good Manufacturing Practices as outlined in Employee Handbook.
  • Adhere to and comply with quality production and Food Safety.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to read and interpret in English.
  • Strong mechanical background and ability to troubleshoot.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

  • Experience with SAP or other inventory management systems (preferred).
  • Experience with GMP and/or HACCP regulations (preferred).
  • 1-3 years’ experience in a high-speed production environment (preferred).
  • Knowledge working in Outlook, Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and use of customer portals (preferred).

Job Setting

This role is based in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Employees will experience varying physical demands throughout the day, including standing for extended periods, walking on occasionally slippery floors, and handling equipment or materials. Due to the nature of the facility, temperatures may fluctuate based on outside weather conditions including heat and cold. The work environment can be loud, and hearing protection (ear plugs) is required. Additionally, to ensure safety and hygiene, employees must wear hairnets and refrain from wearing jewelry while on the production floor. Alcohol is an ingredient in products we produce. We are unable to guarantee specific positions, work schedules or work environments that do not include working around alcohol.

Physical Requirements

  • Regular bending, stooping and lifting up to 60lbs.
  • Extended standing on hard surfaces.
  • Work around noise, dust, variable temperatures, and use of production chemicals.
  • Vision required: distance, close, color, peripheral, and depth perception.
  • Frequently required to stand, talk or hear, use hands, feel, and reach with hands and arms.
  • Occasionally required to sit, walk, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.
  • Works in a production and warehouse environment, including forklifts, equipment, and damp floors.
  • Frequently exposed to working near mechanical parts and exposed to vibration.

Schedule

  • Full-time night shift.
  • 12-hour shift: 6p–6a.
  • 2-2-3 rotating shifts (work 15 days a month).

Pay

  • $19.00 - $21.50 per hour depending on experience.
  • $2.00 night shift differential, if applicable.
  • $750 night shift bonus.
  • Monthly performance-based bonuses.
