Infusion Therapy Nurse

About the Role

Coordinates the total Plan of Care for the patient in the Home Care setting, including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating. Provides leadership for the Health Care team by working cooperatively with other team members to maintain standards of professional nursing practice in the Home Care setting.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the total Plan of Care for patients in the Home Care setting.
• Provide leadership and work cooperatively with the Health Care team to maintain professional nursing standards.
• Communicate effectively with patients and others, both verbally and in writing, to prepare accurate and concise reports.
• Delegate tasks to LPNs and home health aides as needed.

Requirements

• Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in NYS.
• Valid NYS driver's license.
• 1-5 years of relevant experience.
• One year of medical/surgical experience as an RN.
• One year of infusion experience.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree from an accredited School of Registered Nursing.
• Verbal and written communication skills.
• Flexibility, organizational skills, and clear judgment.

Skills

• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and others.
• Skill in preparing accurate, concise, and meaningful reports.
• Organizational and delegation skills.

Schedule

Full-Time, 8a-4:30p, with weekend/holiday and on-call requirements.

Pay

Salary Range: $43.49-$54.26 per hour. Wage will be determined based on factors such as candidate's experience, qualifications, internal equity, and any applicable collective bargaining agreement.
