About the role

This is a full-time day position working Monday thru Friday with our outpatient population in the Calaway Young Cancer Center at Valley View. The Infusion RN will be doing therapeutic IV's, chemo and blood products.

Responsibilities

• Perform therapeutic IV's, chemo and blood products
• Work with a team of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients
• Collaborate with other caregivers at Valley View, including primary care physicians, surgeons and other medical specialists
• Participate in ongoing professional development and education related to oncology nursing

Requirements

• Current Colorado RN license or eligibility to obtain
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• 3 years recent RN Med-Surg or equivalent experience, including IV experience
• Oncology Nursing Society Chemotherapy/Bio-therapy certification required

Qualifications

• Experience in an outpatient setting preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities effectively

Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in computer systems and software
• Knowledge of oncology nursing practices and procedures

Pay

SALARY RANGE $36.76- $54.06/hour (ADN)‎$37.50-$56.23/hour (BSN)

Entry salary dependent upon education, skill set, and experience.

Valley View recognizes a 4% pay difference for RN-ADN, BSN, MSN)

$10,000 sign on bonus for a two-year, full-time commitment! (Some internal candidates may not be eligible).
