About the role
Join IVX Health as a Registered Nurse! Shifts are Monday - Friday (8:00 AM - 7:00 PM) + alternating Saturdays (8:00 AM - 2:00 PM).
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, administering infusions and injections with precision.
- Conduct patient assessments, document observations, and monitor treatment responses.
- Educate and support patients through treatment expectations, potential side effects, and disease management.
- Ensure compliance and quality by maintaining accurate records in the EHR system, reviewing nursing documentation, and upholding HIPAA and OSHA standards.
- Optimize clinical workflows by assisting with chart preparation and treatment planning to streamline patient visits.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to enhance care coordination.
- Auxiliary duties as assigned to support patient care and organizational objectives.
Requirements
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- BLS certification required; PALS certification preferred.
- Background in an ambulatory infusion center, outpatient specialty clinic, or similar setting is a plus.
- Experience with specialty biologics, medication management, and emergency response protocols.
- Strong IV and infusion therapy skills.
- Proficiency in clinical documentation, experience with EHR systems, and a strong understanding of HIPAA and regulatory compliance.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant clinical experience.
