What You'll Do

• Serve as the central hub for patient care coordination, helping patients navigate diagnosis, treatment, survivorship, and supportive care with confidence and continuity.
• Coordinate all clinical care within the oncology clinic to maximize:
• Patient safety
• Quality outcomes
• Patient satisfaction
• Staff engagement and satisfaction
• Utilize the nursing process: Assessment, Diagnosis, Planning, Implementation, Evaluation
• Lead and support:
• EPIC In Basket communication
• Order entry coordination
• Patient education
• Individualized care planning
• Appointment coordination and follow-up
• Care coordination across services including: Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, Surgical Oncology, Chemotherapy and Infusion Services, Palliative Care, Survivorship Programs
• Foster a culture built on teamwork, respect, accountability, and compassionate excellence
• Ensure patient-centered care

Qualifications

• Previous oncology nursing experience preferred
• Infusion nursing experience strongly preferred
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (required)
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required
• Master's Degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field is preferred
• Active RN license in South Carolina or compact state (required)
• ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certification (required or must be obtained within designated timeframe)
• Current BLS Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Current ACLS Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
