Infusion Nurse
About the role
Infusion Solutions of Delaware is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join their infusion center team. This position offers the opportunity to provide specialized infusion therapy in a comfortable outpatient setting where patient relationships, clinical excellence, and quality care come first.
Responsibilities
- Administer IV, subcutaneous, and other infusion therapies
- Assess patients before, during, and after treatment
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals
- Access and maintain PICC lines, ports, and other vascular access devices
- Follow all safety, quality, and infection-control standards
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Delaware (or eligibility for licensure)
- Previous infusion nursing experience is required
- Strong IV insertion and vascular access skills
- Excellent assessment, communication, and patient education abilities
- Ability to recognize and respond to infusion reactions and medical emergencies
- Experience with biologic therapies, IVIG, neurology, rheumatology, or specialty infusion medications preferred
- Current BLS certification
