Position Summary
We are seeking an Infrastructure Specialist to provide technical support for cloud infrastructure projects and production environments. This position will assist with the implementation, configuration, monitoring, testing, and support of cloud‑based infrastructure and services. The Infrastructure Specialist will work under direct supervision and assist more experienced team members with cloud infrastructure operations, troubleshooting, and improvement activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for cloud infrastructure project and production environments.
- Assist with the implementation, configuration, deployment, and maintenance of cloud‑based infrastructure.
- Support cloud‑based software, SaaS, and PaaS environments.
- Assist with configuration management and software distribution activities.
- Support server, network, and storage environments associated with cloud‑based systems.
- Monitor cloud infrastructure and assist with identifying operational or performance issues.
- Assist with testing new cloud‑based products, services, configurations, and infrastructure changes.
- Perform routine troubleshooting of cloud infrastructure and system issues.
- Escalate more complex technical issues to appropriate senior technical personnel.
- Assist with cloud infrastructure upgrades and improvement activities.
- Support implementation and deployment activities within project and production environments.
- Maintain technical documentation related to cloud infrastructure, configurations, procedures, and support activities.
- Assist with moderately complex cloud infrastructure projects as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
- General knowledge of cloud infrastructure and cloud‑based technologies.
- Experience or knowledge of server, network, storage, or systems administration.
- Familiarity with cloud‑based implementation, deployment, and configuration activities.
- General understanding of SaaS and PaaS environments.
- Basic troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to follow established technical procedures and escalate issues appropriately.
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
