Logistics Specialist

Responsibilities

• Support the sales process with logistics budgetary pricing.
• Support the execution process with contracting and coordinating deliveries of various Grid Technology components to project sites or warehouses.
• Update the project manager, customer, and other stakeholders with the status of deliveries.
• Develop supplier relationships and help develop supplier onboarding processes.

Requirements

• Experience in logistics, including contracting freight forwarders and trucking companies.
• Experience in international transportation and documentation requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, High school diploma required.
• Ability to work well in teams interacting routinely with finance, marketing, and external customers.
• Understanding of INCOTERMS and their impact on pricing and risks.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics forwarding.
• Knowledge of Canada freight forwarding processes, and ability to speak French is a strong plus.
