About the Role

Responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and optimizing enterprise infrastructure across specialized domains including Windows Systems, Linux/Midrange Systems, and Visualization Platforms. Provides subject matter expertise, advanced troubleshooting, automation leadership, and ensures reliability, security, and performance of critical infrastructure systems. Also provides guidance for junior engineers and contributes to enterprise technology modernization initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, maintain, and optimize enterprise infrastructure across specialized domains (Windows Systems, Linux/Midrange Systems, Virtualization Platforms).
• Provide subject matter expertise and advanced troubleshooting for complex technical issues.
• Lead automation initiatives using scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python, Ansible).
• Ensure reliability, security, and performance of critical infrastructure systems.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate across diverse technical teams.
• Contribute to enterprise technology modernization initiatives.
• Perform root-cause analysis across multiple platforms.
• Apply enterprise security practices and system hardening techniques.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of hands-on experience in enterprise infrastructure engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Expertise in at least one specialization area: Windows, Linux/Midrange, or Virtualization.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex technical initiatives with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency in automation and scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python, Ansible).
• Deep understanding of enterprise security practices and system hardening.
• Strong communication and documentation capabilities.
• Knowledge of virtualization, server hardware, storage systems, and enterprise networking concepts.

Preferred Qualifications

• VMware Certified Professional – Data Center Virtualization (VCP-DCV).
• Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE).
• Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE).
• CompTIA Server+ or CompTIA Security+.

Schedule

• Full-time, exempt position.
• Shift: 8 AM – 5 PM (Shift 1 – Days).
• Weekend work: Occasional.
• On-call: Yes.
• Remote work: Hybrid.
