About the role

You’ll lead field construction activities and oversee construction and maintenance operations across multiple service areas. You’ll help develop and deliver the factories, grids, transit systems, and public infrastructure that keep communities moving—smarter, safer, and more sustainably than ever before. Working alongside project managers, engineers, technologists, and strategists, you’ll blend real-world experience with digital innovation and AI to transform how capital projects are planned, managed, and executed.

Responsibilities

  • Perform pole groundline inspection and treatment
  • Conduct wood and steel pole inspection, repair, and restoration
  • Replace aluminum bell base insulators
  • Execute transmission, distribution, or substation system upgrades
  • Perform Transmission line (T-line) work ranging from 0–30 miles in scope
  • Champion project readiness and manage field teams by ensuring contractor inspectors, field supervisors, and coordinators fully understand project goals, expectations, and safety requirements
  • Provide technical guidance and problem-solving, ensuring all work complies with technical specifications, assisting with material procurement coordination, and resolving technical issues raised by field teams or contractors
  • Enforce safety and identify hazards by proactively evaluating and reporting hazardous conditions to maintain a safe work environment
  • Drive quality assurance by monitoring work for compliance, such as C-Truss installations, T&D wood pole restoration, and other structural repairs

Requirements

  • Professional experience in the construction and maintenance of substation facilities and/or transmission/distribution systems
  • 10+ years of experience in construction & maintenance of electrical transmission/distribution/substation systems OR a bachelor’s degree and 5 years of field experience OR an associate’s degree and 8 years of field experience

Qualifications

Bonus points if you have:

  • High-voltage experience and working knowledge of electrical theory
  • Switching and tagging experience for projects requiring hold/markup
  • Professional experience managing field construction projects and teams in similar roles
  • Technical knowledge and professional experience in pole and tower inspections, repairs, and restoration
  • Professional experience with environmental regulations for construction
  • OSHA 30 certification
  • First Aid/AED certification

Pay

$100,000 - $110,000 a year

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on factors such as office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. The range provided applies to roles hired in select U.S. states as required by local law.
