The Work

  • Lead enterprise-wide digital infrastructure and asset strategies that modernize capital planning, project delivery, and operating models.
  • Oversee connected asset telemetry programs (e.g., smart metering, IoT sensors, fleet/equipment telematics, building systems instrumentation) including strategy, procurement, deployment, integration, and long-term optimization — to support capital investment planning and asset performance management.
  • Translate emerging technologies into practical, implementable solutions aligned with organizational readiness and capital program maturity.
  • Integrate digital twins, analytics platforms, and enterprise systems to enhance capital project visibility, asset risk management, and executive decision-making.
  • Advise executives on data governance, AI-enabled decision support, and scalable digital architectures for capital programs and regulated or high‑assurance environments.
  • Lead programs involving condition assessment, risk‑based capital planning, predictive maintenance, reliability strategies, and infrastructure renewal.
  • Align asset strategy with capital funding models, financial planning, operational needs, and long‑term sustainability goals.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to owner executives, public‑sector leaders, and cross‑functional teams on capital delivery, asset strategy, and digital enablement.
  • Build and maintain executive‑level relationships across owner organizations and ecosystem partners supporting major capital and infrastructure programs.
  • Facilitate collaboration among engineering, operations, IT/OT, finance, procurement, and governance stakeholders.
  • Support change management, workforce capability development, and organizational design related to capital projects and asset‑intensive operations.
  • Lead market strategy, growth planning, and pursuit execution across digital, asset management, and capital program services.
  • Identify and develop new service offerings, delivery models, and strategic partnerships focused on capital projects, asset management, and digital infrastructure.
  • Manage complex sales cycles, including proposals, SOQs, interviews, and executive presentations.
  • Drive revenue growth through strategic account management, IDIQ contracts, MSAs, and long‑term partnerships tied to capital programs and asset portfolios.
  • Oversee planning, design, engineering, and implementation of major capital infrastructure programs, including digital and asset components.
  • Manage multidisciplinary teams delivering capital projects, digital solutions, engineering services, asset management, and operating readiness.
  • Ensure alignment with sector requirements, client expectations, and long‑term asset and capital performance objectives.
  • Support pilots, demonstrations, and early‑stage deployments of digital technologies that scale into enterprise capital and asset programs.

Flexible: The work location for this role will include a mix of working remotely, onsite at a client or in an Accenture office or center. With all our roles, there is some in-person time for collaboration, learning and building relationships with clients, peers, leaders and communities. Here's What You'll Need

  • 10+ years of experience across asset-intensive infrastructure, capital projects, digital transformation, and asset management (public and/or private sector)
  • 10+ years of experience in one or more of the following industries: Rail & Transit, Energy, Utilities, Retail, Automotive, Manufacturing, Airports
  • Credentials and expertise in combinations of:
    • Digital twins/simulation, IoT/connected telemetry, analytics, AI/ML (including GenAI), and enterprise integration
    • PMIS/PPM platforms, project controls, and capital program governance
    • Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), reliability/maintenance practices, and asset data foundations
    • OT/ICS environments (e.g., SCADA, industrial control systems, building systems, operational networks), as applicable to the domain
    • Condition assessment/NDE approaches and asset risk frameworks

Bonus Points If You Have

  • Proven leadership across consulting firms, technology vendors, owner organizations, ideally in executive roles
  • Strong background in capital program strategy, business development, strategic planning, and market expansion
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex, multi-stakeholder capital and asset-intensive programs and deliver measurable operational, financial, and societal value
  • Experience operating in regulated and/or safety-critical environments, including sector standards, compliance expectations, and public accountability requirements (as applicable by industry)
