Infrastructure & Capital Projects – Data Center Industry Program Manager, ANS

About the role

You’ll serve as a trusted advisor both internally—working with project teams to develop client solutions—and externally, helping solve our clients’ toughest capital projects challenges as part of growing our business. You’ll help develop and deliver the factories, grids, transit systems, and public infrastructure that keep communities moving—smarter, safer, and more sustainably than ever before. You’ll work alongside project managers, engineers, technologists, and strategists who blend real-world experience with digital innovation and AI, transforming how capital projects are planned, managed, and executed.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert, building strong client relationships and providing strategic guidance to solve complex project and business challenges.
• Support business development efforts through industry expertise, thought leadership, proposal development, and participation in industry events.
• Act as an Owner’s Representative, overseeing capital projects from planning and initiation through execution, closeout, and handover.
• Lead project planning and delivery activities, ensuring alignment with client objectives, budgets, schedules, and performance expectations.
• Develop and implement program tools, processes, and initiatives that drive operational excellence, team growth, and client success.
• Build and maintain impactful relationships with stakeholders at all levels, including presenting recommendations and updates to executive leadership.
• Monitor program performance, assess client needs, analyze key metrics, and recommend scalable solutions that improve efficiency and outcomes.
• Advise clients on resource planning and allocation strategies, including staffing and Owner Furnished Equipment (OFE) management.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and client teams to drive successful project execution and achievement of program goals.
• Identify and mitigate project risks while fostering effective communication and coordination across project teams, vendors, subcontractors, and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in construction management, project management, engineering, architecture, or equivalent experience/degree.
• 10+ years experience in the data center industry including strong knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP) disciplines.
• 15+ years of progressive experience with demonstrated functional knowledge of all phases of construction and capital projects.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills and computer skills.
• Proficient in reading and understanding contract documents, plans, and specifications.
• Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite and other capital projects platforms.

Pay

$200,000 - $230,000 a year. Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.

Schedule

Flexible: The work location for this role will include a mix of working remotely, onsite at a client, or in an Accenture office or center. Some in-person time is required for collaboration, learning, and building relationships with clients, peers, leaders, and communities.
