Infrastructure Automation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain monitoring for critical applications, services, and APIs to ensure system reliability.
• Build dashboards, alerts, and telemetry to strengthen observability and improve visibility across environments.
• Automate operational tasks using Python, PowerShell, or similar scripting languages to increase efficiency and reduce manual work.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code for cloud and infrastructure resources using Terraform and AWS native tools.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional infrastructure automation engineer experience
• A bachelor’s degree is required, ideally in a technical discipline.
• Ability to work on site three days per week at the Durham, NC headquarters.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services including Lambda, S3, CloudFormation, and related cloud components.
• Proficiency with Terraform, Python, and automation scripting for infrastructure and operational workflows.

Compensation

$120,000-$155,000
