As a member of the Facilities Electrical Central Control Room (CCR) Systems Team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring reliable power delivery and rapid recovery from disruptions.
Role and Responsibilities
- Develop step plans for power distribution system configuration changes, including required pre-walks and calculations.
- Create, review, and/or revise standard operating procedures (SOPs) and specifications to ensure high quality and annual revision compliance.
- Control and audit electrical room access for employees and contractors.
- Utilize statistical process controls to improve system alarms, set points, and trends.
- Drive safety, quality, and 6S activities through process improvement initiatives.
- Enhance CCR and Facilities Electrical operators' troubleshooting capabilities and distribution system knowledge.
- Mentor and train others, effectively communicating throughout the organization.
- Work independently on assignments and tasks, including continuous improvement projects.
- Lead small teams of shift electricians for patrol rounds, preventive maintenance, and switching activities.
- Execute CCR Console (eFMCS) operations and maintain proper tagging of equipment to minimize nuisance alarms.
- Analyze alarm trends and escalate potential issues promptly.
- Initiate and manage Business Continuity and Emergency Response Plans.
- Evaluate tool impacts and prepare 8D reports for electrical incidents.
Skills and Qualifications
- Strong understanding of electrical distribution systems and single line diagrams.
- Programming experience (Python, SQL, R, etc.) is a plus.
- Microsoft Excel advanced user.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentations.
Pay and Benefits
The current base salary range for this role is between $76,000 - $101,000. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, and qualifications. Total compensation includes a competitive benefits package, such as medical, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, 401(k) matching, and more.
