Information Technology Technician (Events)

About the role

The Information Technology Technician (Event) is responsible for supporting various IT needs during events at West Valley–Mission CCD.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setting up and tearing down IT equipment for events.
• Provide technical support to event staff and attendees as needed.
• Ensure all IT equipment is functioning properly before and during events.
• Document and maintain records of IT setups and configurations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of related work experience in an IT support role.
• Experience with basic IT equipment such as computers, printers, and networking devices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite.
• Basic knowledge of network infrastructure and protocols.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
