Information Technology Technician

About the Role

This position is a benefited/full-time non-exempt position. Corporate IT is located in Sheridan Wyoming but could accommodate in-person role at our other branch locations: Laramie, Casper, WY, Billings, Bozeman, Helena, MT.

Responsibilities

• Check and address urgent technical issues reported by the team
• Troubleshoot hardware and software problems
• Install and configure new equipment
• Assist in regular system maintenance, ensuring all systems are secure and updated
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve user concerns and enhance their technological experience

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 & Intune (a plus)
• Experience with Windows domains and Active Directory
• An industry-recognized Help Desk Certification and experience in a help desk environment
• Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems
• Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues
• Familiarity with software installations and IT security principles
• High school diploma with 1-3 years of experience in hardware and software support (preferred but not required)

• Strong organizational abilities to manage tasks efficiently
• Effective verbal and written communication skills to convey technical information clearly
