Duties

Provides management and guidance on the command and control of all CNMF operations.
Leads proactive, compliant, and effective cyberspace operations (CO) by leveraging CNMF forces and capabilities embedded with mission partners.
Allocates and schedules personnel and resources based on application of technical and functional expertise to identify optimal mission activities.
Represents the CNMF to discuss and negotiate requirements, resources, and respective roles and responsibilities for projected cyberspace missions and scenarios with mission partners to meet CNMF operations.
Supports the development of USCYBERCOM and other Combatant Command (CCMD) support plans.
Assists CNMF Capabilities Team to ensure CNMF has the cyberspace capabilities essential to support CNMF operations.
Continually assesses and refines processes that govern and ensure CNMF’s agile application of cyber capabilities.
Establishes command cyber capability priorities, determines approaches, plans, and executes projects.
Performs a broad range of technical analyses and studies to derive meaning from lessons learned and operational metrics to improve the CNMF’s ability to address anticipated operational challenges.
Establishes assumptions, measures effectiveness of existing approaches, and evaluates available alternatives.
Attends meetings, conferences, briefings, and seminars related to program planning, advanced technologies, and support system concepts.

Requirements

  • Conditions of employment: Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation. Three year trial/probationary period may be required. Must obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET SCI clearance as a condition of employment and complete a counterintelligence scope polygraph exam. This position has been designated as a Testing Designated Position (TDP).
  • Illegal drug use by employees in sensitive positions presents a clear threat to the mission of the Army, national security, and public safety. Incumbent may be selected for random drug testing and may be subject to reasonable suspicion testing and safety mishap or accident testing.

  • Specialized experience: Demonstrated experience leading cyberspace operational planning and supporting efforts to enable offensive cyberspace operations; assisting to ensure the operation has the cyberspace capabilities essential to support the operation; coordinating with personnel from other organizations or agencies to exchange technical information, ideas, or procedures on cyber capabilities; briefing technical experts and senior leadership on changes in cyber operations and planning.
